Going Global by Stampin' Up!

Can you believe it is already February 12th!?!  Valentine's Day is around the corner and love is in the air!  I love making Valentine's Day cards but always get a little stumped when it comes to making one for the hubby.  We all know how much I love "bling" on cards but for a guy.....I keep it at a minimum ;)   Here is the card that I created for my hubby and I hope you all love it as much as I do!

Supplies:

Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Measurements:

•    Lost Lagoon: 8 ½” X 5 ½”
•    Very Vanilla: 5 3/8” X 4 1/8”  &  Scrap
•    Mint Macaron: 5 ¼“ X 4”

Instructions:

•    Drag Lost Lagoon ink directly onto World Traveler Embossing Folder…on the water raised edge of folder.  Emboss
•    Ink up globe stamp with Mint Macaron ink, stamp off once onto scrap paper to lighten, then stamp onto Very Vanilla Scrap.
•    Use Circles Framelit to cut out globe
•    Stamp “You Mean the World to Me” on globe with Lost Lagoon ink
•    Use bone folder to gently drag along edges of Mint Marcaron and Globe layers to show/cause “wear”
•    Fold Lost Lagoon Base in half…Use SNAIL to adhere Lagoon, Vanilla and Macaron Layers
•    Fold desired length pieces of Grosgrain and Lace in half, slightly off center.  Use Glue Dots to secure together.  Use Glue Dots to adhere to back of Globe.
•    Tie a bow with Venetian Lace and adhere to Globe using Glue Dots
•    Use Dimensionals to adhere Globe to Card Base
