Bokeh Thank You

noun: bokeh
the visual quality of the out-of-focus areas of a photographic image, especially as rendered by a particular lens.

This is a technique that I am sure many of you have seen online and I LOVE it.  I learned how to do the technique (easy peasy) and below is how you make it.  Enjoy!

Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Lost Lagoon: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Rich Razzleberry: 4" x 5 1/4"
Whisper White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Ribbon: 5" pieces

  1. Sponge the Whisper White cardstock using Lost Lagoon and Rich Razzleberry in.
  2. Make a template (stencil) of various circle sizes using cardstock OR a window sheet.
  3. Use the stencil to create random circles all over your cardstock.  Use Whisper White craft ink and Sponge Daubers to make them in all sizes.  Allow some to overlap, some to hang off the edge of the cardstock, and make some "whiter" than others.  Continue to sponge circles until you are happy with your look.
  4. Allow to thoroughly dry, or heat set with your Heat Tool.
  5. Stamp "Thank You" image, add ribbon, punch flowers, and rhinestones.
Remember, you do not have to be creative to create - just copy this project!  Happy stamping!
