Thankful treats

When anybody asks me what my favorite holiday is, I always say it is Thanksgiving.  It is a time to be thankful for our family, friends, and everything that we have.  I enjoy hosting family dinner at my house and seeing not only my side of the family there but also my husband's side of the family. Sometimes I stand on the stairs of my house and look down into my dining room and just beam with joy because of all my blessings.

Today I wanted to share with you an idea that Janice Rock came up with.  She gave me the template (which I have included for you) and I made these to show a little "thank you" to my amazing family on Thanksgiving.   Take a 8.5 x 11 inch piece of cardstock and cut it in half then use the template below for the container.

I then used my favorite Sweater Weather DSP and the Autumn Accents Bigz Die to punch out the leaves and the Champagne Glimmer Paper for the acorn and layered them to the front with a dimensional.  I have some mini chocolate bars that I bought and wrapped them with a small piece of DSP around the outside to put inside the goodie bag. Enjoy the wonderful fall weather and Happy Stamping!
