Happy Thanksgiving!

We absolutely love monkey bread and it never sticks around for very long! I found this recipe on Taylor VanBruggen’s blog (www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com) about 7 years ago.  This is our traditional Thanksgiving morning breakfast paired with some coffee and fruit. Now wipe the drool from your chin and go try it! ;)

INGREDIENTS
4 tubes of buttermilk biscuits
1 cup brown sugar
2 sticks of butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup white sugar

Mix white sugar and cinnamon together in a large Ziploc bag. Cut each buttermilk biscuit into fourths and place in cinnamon/sugar bag. Toss until well coated. Remove biscuits from cinnamon sugar and place in a greased bundt pan. Bring brown sugar and butter to a boil and pour over the biscuits. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes and then flip the pan over to remove the monkey bread. Be careful...the bundt pan is hot and I have burnt myself a few times when doing this.

Wishing you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving!
