It has been over 105
degrees here the past SEVEN days! That
also means I am not doing a lot outside of the house so I have had extra time
to stamp. WAHOO! I saw this card online and I just had to CASE
it. This card uses the Mixed Bunch stamp set which I love and the brand new
Gingham Garden Washi Tape! Washi tape is SO fun, and if you haven't used any
before you HAVE to try it! I never heard of washi tape until SU! put it in the
new catalog, and now I am a big fan too! This tape is so forgiving, if you make a
mistake putting it down, you can peel it right back up and reposition it!
I used Mixed Bunch for
the flower. I stamped the flower with Melon Mambo ink onto Melon Mambo
cardstock and punched it out with the Blossom Punch. I used my Bone Folder to
curl up the petals, giving this flower some dimension. I stamped one of the
flower centres from this set in Daffodil Delight ink onto Daffodil Delight
cardstock and punched it out with the 3/4"
Circle Punch. This was added to the middle of my flower with a Dimensional, and
then I added the flower to the card with even more dimensional. Love how it turned out and it was simple to
make.
Hope
you are all having a fabulous long weekend!
Happy stamping!
