Merry Patterns birthday card created with LIMITED RELEASE* Stampin' Up! product

  • Ink: Basic Black (140931), Dapper Denim (141394), Lemon Lime Twist (144086), So Saffron (126957)

Measurements
  • Thick Very Vanilla: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”
  • Dapper Denim: 4” x 5 1/4”, 3 1/4” x 3 1/4”          
  • Shimmery White: 2 3/4” x 2 3/4”
  • Designer Paper: 3 3/4” x 5”, 3 3/4” x 1 1/2”

Instructions:
  1. Attach the Dapper Denim layer and designer paper layers to the Very Vanilla card base.
  2. Using the Big Shot, cut the scalloped square framelit from the square of Dapper Denim cardstock.
  3. Stamp the candles with Basic Black ink onto the square of Shimmery White cardstock and then add the greeting below that image.
  4. Using Lemon Lime Twist and Dapper Denim inks, stamp the candle images as shown.
  5. Add the color to the flame of the candles using So Saffron ink.
  6. Using the Big Shot, cut the stitched square from the Shimmery White square.
  7. Attach this layer to the Dapper Denim scalloped square and then to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  8. Tie a bow with the ribbon and attach it to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.
  9. Go over the flames with Clear Wink of Stella to give them a glittery finish.

A Thanksgiving card?? Yup, giving you oodles of time to make the stack of them you may need. :-)


Supplies:

  • Stamp Sets - Pick A Pumpkin Bundle (wood 146024, clear 146025); Teeny Tiny Wishes (wood 128748. clear 127802)
  • Card Stock – Crumb Cake (120953), Whisper White (100730)
  • Stamp Pads – Crumb Cake (126975), VersaMark (102283)
  • Misc. – Big Shot (143263), Copper Foil Sheets (142020); Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape (144644), Embossing Buddy (103083); Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder (141636); Heat Tool (129053); 5/8” Burlap Ribbon (141487); Mini Glue Dots (103683); Mini Dimensionals (144108)
        
Measurements:  
  • Whisper White (base): 5 ½” x 8 ½”, folded in half
  • Whisper White (banner): 1 3/8” x 2 ¼”
  • Crumb Cake (strip): 1” x 5 ½”
  • Crumb Cake: 4” x 5”
  • Copper Foil: 3” x 3”
  • Burlap Ribbon: 16”

Instructions:
  1. Layer three different sizes and patterns of the Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape approximately 2” from the bottom of the card as shown.
  2. Stamp the fern image using Crumb Cake ink on the Crumb Cake cardstock strip, lining up one image above the next as shown. Adhere the cardstock to the far right side of the Whisper White cardstock base.
  3. Pat the Embossing Buddy on the Whisper White banner cardstock.  Stamp “Happy Thanksgiving” from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set using Versamark ink. Sprinkle the greeting with the Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set using the Heat Tool.  Cut a banner tip on the left side of the cardstock.  Adhere below the last layer of Washi Tape as shown.
  4. Die cut the filigree pumpkin from the Copper Foil using the Thinlits that are part of this bundle. 
  5. Stamp various ferns and springs using Crumb Cake ink on the Crumb Cake 4” x 5” piece of cardstock. Die cut the images using the coordinating Thinlits.
  6. Adhere the ferns and springs in an overlapping cluster to the right edge of the Washi Tape using a combination of Glue Dots and Mini Dimensionals.
  7. Intertwine the copper pumpkin between some of the ferns and springs.  Tuck a few Glue Dots in areas behind the pumpkin that will not be visible from the front to secure it in place.  You only need a few. 
  8. Pull out three strands from the Burlap Ribbon.  Holding two strands together, wrap them around three fingers.  Gently slide them off, pinching in the center.  Wrap the third strand around the center of the loops several times then tie in a knot to secure.  Adhere to the base of the pumpkin using a Glue Dot.

Measurements:  

  • Basic Black: 8 ½” x 5 ½” scored at 4 ¼”; 1” x 5 ¼”; scrap for scalloped oval
  • Pumpkin Pie: scrap for stitched oval
  • Very Vanilla: 4” x 5 ¼”; scrap to stamp cat image
  • Designer Series Paper:  ¾” x 5 ¼”

Instructions:

  1. Stamp cat image in Basic Black ink on Very Vanilla card stock. Punch out stamped cat image.  Mount cat to Pumpkin Pie stitched oval with Dimensionals.  Mount to Basic Black scalloped oval.
  2. Emboss Very Vanilla card stock with Polka Dot Basics embossing folder and adhere to Basic Black card base.  Adhere Basic Black strip of paper across front with Designer Series Paper layered on top. 
  3. Adhere oval embellishment with Dimensionals to the left of the card.

  • Card Stock – Real Red (102482); Daffodil Delight (119683); Whisper White (100730)
  • Stamp Pads – Basic Black Archival (140931); Real Red (126949)
  • Misc. – Daffodil Delight 1/4” Double Stitched Ribbon (144116); 1 3/4" Circle Punch (119850); 1 1/2" Circle Punch (138299); Brights Stampin’ Write Markers (131259); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); SNAIL Adhesive (104332)
        
Measurements:  
  • Real Red:               8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
  • Daffodil Delight:       5 1/2" x 3”               scrap (circle punch)
  • Whisper White:       5 1/2" x 2 3/4"         scrap (circle punch)

Instructions:
  1. Fold Real Red cardstock in half for card base.
  2. Stamp pen image multiple times on Whisper White Cardstock using Basic Black Archival Ink.
  3. Color in the middle of the flowers on the pen image using the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker. Color one flower pen using the Real Red and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker.
  4. Adhere the Whisper White cardstock to the Daffodil Delight Cardstock using SNAIL Adhesive. Adhere to Real Red card base using SNAIL Adhesive.
  5. Stamp sentiment on Whisper White scrap using the Basic Black Archival Ink. Add the “© Stampin’ Up!” stamp in Real Red ink.
  6. Punch out using the 1 1/2" Circle Punch. Punch out 1 3/4" Circle using the Daffodil Delight cardstock.
  7. Layer the circles together and adhere with SNAIL Adhesive. Adhere to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  8. Tie ribbon in a knot and adhere to circles using SNAIL Adhesive.

Supplies:

•    Card Stock –Thick Whisper White (140272); Crushed Curry (131199); Dapper Denim (141414)
•    Stamp Pads – Dapper Denim (141394); Memento Tuxedo Black (132708); VersaMark (102283)
•    Miscellaneous- Big Shot (143263) Pocket Framelits Dies (143750); Embossing Buddy (103083); Heat Tool (129053); Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder (109131); Stamping Sponges (141337); Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

Measurements:  
•    Thick Whisper White:  4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2" and 1" x 1" for pocket tab
•    Crushed Curry: 3-1/4" x 5 and 3" x 1-1/2" for sun glasses
•    Dapper Denim: 3" x 4-3/4" and 3-1/2" x 3" for pocket

Instructions:
•    Stamp pocket and pocket stitching in Dapper Denim ink on the smaller piece of Dapper Denim card stock and cut out with the Big Shot and Pocket Framelits.
•    Sponge around edges and on the surface of pocket and larger Dapper Denim piece to give a worn denim look.
•    Rub Embossing Buddy over the pocket and stamp "you dazzle me" in VersaMark ink.
•    Heat emboss with the Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder and the Heat Tool.
•    Stamp "for you" in Dapper denim ink on the small piece of Thick Whisper White card stock.  Tuck the edge of this under the side of the pocket and attach with Snail Adhesive.
•    Bedazzle the pocket with Rhinestone Basic Jewels just above the "stitched line"
•    Fold the Thick Whisper White card stock in half for the card base.
•    Attach the large Dapper Denim piece of card stock to the large Crushed Curry piece of card stock with Snail Adhesive.
•    Attach these layers to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
•    Attach the pocket to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals
•    Stamp the sunglasses in Memento ink on the smaller of the Crushed Curry pieces of card stock.  Cut out with the Big Shot and Pocket Framelits.
•    Add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to each side of the sunglasses.
•    Attach the glasses to the pocket with Stampin' Dimensionals by tucking one side of the sunglasses behind the pocket.
