MEANT TO BE gift card holder created using Stampin' Up! products

Sometimes we all like to give a gift card and I like to put them in a gift card holder so that it is more personal. I tend to put a lot of thought into a gift that I give, but sometimes a gift card is the best option so the recipient can choose exactly what they like.  Every time I have given one in a cute handmade envelope, the recipient always LOVES it!

JUST BECAUSE host set card created using Stampin' Up! products

All images © 1990-2019 Stampin’ Up!®

What is it about coloring that makes it soooooooo relaxing? My favorite style is "simple stampin'" and Stampin' Up! is focusing heavily on that this next year. Yay! Why make it intimidating and complicated?

Supplies:

  • Stamp Set: Just Because (148786) – this set can only be earned with Stampin Rewards
  • Cardstock and Paper: Gingham Gala 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper or DSP (148554), Highland Heather (146986), Granny Apple Green (146990), Shimmery White (101910), Window Sheets (142314)
  • Ink and Coloring: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (132708), Stampin’ Blends: Granny Apple Green Combo (147274), Highland Heather Combo (147276), Soft Suede Dark (146875), Daffodil Delight Light (144586)

  • Granny Apple Green: 2-3/4” x 4-1/4”
  • Shimmery White: 3-3/4” x 2-1/2”
  • Ribbon: 14”

Instructions:

  1. Stamp “thinking of you” image with Memento Ink onto Shimmery White. Color in with Stampin’ Blends. Brush leaves with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Die cut with rectangle.
  2. Die cut rectangle one size larger than focal image onto Granny Apple Green.
  3. Die cut one size larger onto Window Sheet.
  4. Using SNAIL where it can’t be seen when the project is finished, adhere Window Sheet piece to Highland Heather Gingham Gala piece. Adhere that piece to card base with SNAIL taking care to center it.

Storage by Stampin' Up!

Have you heard!?  This new storage system is NOW available for ordering.  Some of you had questions about this new collection so I thought I would answer some of them below:

  • How high can I stack storage trays? We stacked up to 50 storage trays without any issues, BUT we would not recommend stacking that high. While our Storage by Stampin’ Up! products are sturdy, the higher you stack them, the less stable they’ll become. Use your discretion when stacking.
  • Can I mount my Storage by Stampin’ Up! products on the wall? No. Our modular storage products are designed to sit on a table (or similar flat surface).
  • How should I use the Open Storage Cube? The Open Storage Cube can be used to hold any miscellaneous items like ribbon, embellishments, and small punches. For more inspiration on ways to use items from our Storage by Stampin’ Up! product line, check out the configuration chart we created.
  • Can I mix and match Storage by Stampin’ Up! products? Yes! Our Storage by Stampin’ Up! products are modular and designed with customization in mind. Take a look at the flyer for more information on the size and dimensions of each item in our new modular storage product line.
  • Do I need a Storage Lid for each 5-tray stack? No. The Storage Lid covers the top of Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays, Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays, and Open Storage Cubes, so you need only one per storage configuration.
  • Are Storage by Stampin’ Up! products free-standing or stacked? Both. We designed these modular storage products to be free-standing and stackable, so you can customize your crafting space to work best for you.
  • Will there be expansions to the Storage by Stampin’ Up! product line in the future? Like all our product offerings, we hope Storage by Stampin’ Up! will be successful and expand. However, at this point in time, we can’t guarantee any additional modular storage products in the future.
  • How many Stampin’ Ink Refills can I store in the Storage Topper? You can store up to 20 Stampin’ Ink Refills (or other small items) in the Storage Topper.
  • Will old-design Stampin’ Pads fit in the Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays? No. The Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays are designed to fit our new-design Stampin’ Pads only. (some demonstrators have successfully put the old pads in them and although they are bit snug, they still fit)
  • Are ink pads difficult to remove from Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays? No. When you insert an ink pad into a storage tray, a small portion of the ink pad will stick out. We designed it this way, so your ink pads will be both secure and easy to access.
  • Can I buy individual Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays and/or Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays? No. Both of these items include a set of five white plastic trays. Please use the configuration chart to determine how many storage units you need.
  • What material do you use to make Storage by Stampin’ Up! products? Our modular storage products are made with white, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic, which is a lightweight and durable material.
  • How do the silicone feet work? To protect your surface and prevent slipping, we’ve included peel-and-stick silicone feet with the Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays, Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays, and Open Storage Cube.
  • How do I know how many of each unit to order?  HERE is a configuration chart that will help you plan for your individual needs.
